Site scale

When site scale coincides with a historic city centre or urban area the same hypothesis of the local scale can be applied. When the site of interest is a building, the assessment of flood hazard could be at very high spatial resolution and account for drainage systems and urban texture, thus fully resolving the street-building pattern. However, examples of building-specific flood hazard assessment are not available in literature since the nature of inundation usually involves large areas, which cannot be separately simulated.

Thus, for site scale the same hypothesis and working assumption of the local scale are applicable.
