The UNIPI research unit developed a wide series of studies, under specific agreements with several public entities (located in Toscana, Liguria, Abruzzo), related to the monitoring and assessment of seismic risk on historical constructions. It also performed structural analysis on archaeological UNESCO sites addressed to sustainable restorations (Shawbak and Wuhayra, Petra – Jordan; Khor Rori and Al Balid – Oman). The unit is also involved in the RELUIS Consortium in the sector of masonry structures.
