The UNIBO research unit belongs to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DICAM) University of Bologna with a consolidated tradition in the restoration of monumental buildings and mitigation of hydrogeological hazards. In particular, the UNIBO unit is involved in interdisciplinary committees for the preservations of important monuments such as the Cathedral of Modena (UNESCO) and the Two Towers of Bologna, the main architectural symbol of the city. Thanks to the consolidate experience with the restoration/rehabilitation of historical buildings, UNIBO offers a master degree programme dedicated to Historical Buildings Rehabilitations.
